Motorola released a new budget smartwatch called the Moto Watch 120 in July, and there’s a good chance you haven’t heard of it.

You’re not alone in being surprised that Motorola makes smartwatches in addition to smartphones. However, technically it does not. The smartwatches released under the Motorola name are made by a company called CE Brands, which has almost no social media presence.

Before the Moto Watch 120 launched in July, there was no announcement or hint from the company.

Moto Watch 120 Specifications

The Moto Watch 120 runs on the Moto Watch OS and is compatible with Android and iPhone. Its 300mAh battery promises up to 10 days of life on a single charge.

The watch features a 1.43in AMOLED display and comes with advanced health features like a heart rate monitor, blood oxygen sensor, sleep tracker, and stress tracker. You also get Google Fit integration into the smartwatch, allowing you to set goals and monitor progress across platforms.

Other smartwatch features include an accelerometer, built-in speaker, microphone, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, and more than 100 sports modes. The case is made of zinc alloy and has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance up to 1.5m.

The watch is priced at $130 and comes in three color options – Phantom Black, Rose Gold, and Glacier Silver. Considering the Moto Watch 120’s price and features, it fits nicely within the group of budget smartwatches like the Apple Watch SE and Samsung Galaxy Watch 7.
