Honor has announced new products at IFA Berlin including the MagicPad 2 tablet, Magic V3 foldable, and the MagicBook Art 14 laptops.
The Honor MagicPad 2 packs some premium specifications and competes against the likes of the OnePlus Pad 2, iPad Pro 2024, Galaxy Tab S9, and more in the market.
The Honor MagicPad 2 comes with symmetrical bezels on all sides surrounding the 12.3in OLED display. It bears 3K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1,600 nits peak brightness. The tablet is also IMAX Enhanced certified for an immersive viewing experience. It packs features like an AI Defocus display, 4,320Hz PWM Dimming, circadian night display, and DC Dimming to minimize eye strain and fatigue during extended usage.
On the audio front, the Honor MagicPad 2 is equipped with an eight-speaker system, DTS audio, and Honor Spatial Audio technology that is said to expand the sound field by 25%. There are also three microphones onboard. The tablet features a 13MP rear camera housed inside a circular module and a 9MP selfie snapper.
Internally, the Honor MagicPad 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It is a slightly toned-down version of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The device packs 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. A 10,050mAh battery fitted inside keeps the device running. It supports 66W fast charging. The MagicPad 2 ships MagicOS 8.0 built on Android 14. It comes loaded with various AI features like math formula recognition, handwriting beautification, meeting recording, meeting translation, and magic portal.
The Honor MagicPad 2 carries a price tag of €599. It is offered in Moonlight White and Black colors.
