The update is called A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn and is set to be the last chapter in Penacony before progressing ?Honkai: Star Rail’s story to the new location — Amphoreus, the eternal land. Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 Release Date
Honkai: Star Rail’s new update will be released on December 3, 2024, for North American servers and on December 4, 2024, for EU and Asian servers. Specific times may vary depending on the region.
The Honkai: Star Rail update will be available on day one to play on iOS/Android, Windows PC, and PS5.

Event warps are limited-time events where players can spend in-game currency to get the latest Honkai: Star Rail characters. The 2.7 Update Will Release Four Banners Across Two Separate Phases
Phase 1
- Will be available from December 3 to December 25, 2024.
- Eye to the Stars banner includes the new five-star character Sunday (imaginary/harmony).
- Swirl of Heavenly Spear banner is a re-run of the five-star character Jing Yuan (lightning/erudition).
- Four-star characters include Tingyun (lightning/harmony), Qingque (quantum/erudition), and Arlan (lightning/destruction), which can be pulled across both banners.
- Light cone banners include Brilliant Fixation featuring A Grounded Ascent (5-Star, the harmony) light cone, and Bygone Reminiscence with Before Dawn (5-Star, erudition) light cone
Phase 2
- Will be available from December 25, 2024, to January 14, 2025.
- The Long Voyage Home banner includes the five-star character Fugue (fire/nihility).
- Firefull Flyshine banner is a rerun of the five-star character Firefly (fire/destruction).
- Four-star characters include Gallagher (fire/abundance), Yukong (imaginary/harmony), and Misha (ice/destruction).
- Light cone banners include Brilliant Fixation featuring Long Roads Leads Home (5-star, Nihility) and Bygone Reminiscence with Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest (5-star, destruction).
Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 New Characters
The 2.7 update kicks things off with Honkai: Star Rail’s new character — Sunday. The former head of the Oak Family, he has forgone blessings from Harmony and Order to explore the world through mortal eyes.
Players can pull him in one of two Honkai: Star Rail banners launching in the first phase —? in Eye to the Stars. He will be a five-star character, fulfilling a support role within the team.?
His skill increases the damage output of an ally, which is further enhanced if they have a summon on the field. His ultimate targets an ally and their summon to make them The Beatified, applying a halo on their head and granting both immediate energy regeneration and increased critical damage.

We last saw Tingun in 1.2, where she narrowly escapes her encounter with Phantylia, who is saved by Madam Ruan Mei from the Genius Society. Now, she has a new name and appearance after receiving an opportunity to start with a clean slate.
She will be available as the new 5-star character to pull in one of two banners coming in the second half of Honaki: Star Rail’s next update — in The Long Voyage Home.
She, too, fulfills a supporting role, capable of ignoring enemy weaknesses to reduce their toughness. Fugue presence results in enemies receiving the Cloudflame Luster affliction, which causes break damage once reduced to zero. While she is in the team, allies who attack weakness broken enemies deal super break damage, with their break effect enhanced by Fugue’s technique.
Her ultimate applies fire damage to all surrounding enemies, ignoring their weakness to reduce toughness. She will be available for a limited time as one of two Honkai: Star Rail pulls alongside Firefly.

Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 New Events
A new Honkai: Star Rail story mission will become available with version 2.7’s launch, where a new Trailblaze quest will see the Astral Express crew return to Penacony and meet with Sunday. Players will be able to make changes to influence Sunday’s fat in this mission, and we may see a potential appearance by Fugue.
There will be an abundance of Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 events to complete throughout the update, though durations are unconfirmed at this time.

Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 New Map
While the new Honkai: Star Rail map of Amphoreus is just around the corner, players can enjoy new explorable areas in the Astral Express in the meantime.
The Party-Car is a spacious reception area, featuring a marble bar attended by a robotic bartender. The area can serve as a sort of gathering hub for a brief reprieve between missions, gathering with friends, or a much-needed place of solitude to sort through your inventory.
The classy aesthetics of the Party-Car opposes the chaotic yet homey feel of the Trailblazer’s new room. Climbing the flight of stairs will reveal the Trailblazers quarters, a customizable space that you can decorate with funds earned through the Cosmic Home Decor event and other tasks. This area will be a constantly evolving space with new items to earn in future events.
Latest Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 News
Divergent Universe: The Human Comedy will also receive a few changes in version 2.7. There will now be a raised level cap to 100 for Synchronicity, in addition to a few quality-of-life changes such as balance patches and adjustments to the save file reset schedule — which will now only occur during Divergent Universe updates.
The latest Honkai: Star Rail news concerns details shared in the PlayStation Blog, which highlights key quality-of-life changes coming in 3.0, including new additions to the relic system.
Honkai: Star Rail players will now be able to use the new resources, Wishful and Self-Modeling Resin, to fine-tune both the relic’s main stats and subsidiary stats during synthesis to better optimize your builds.
