KEY TAKEAWAYS

Meta: The relaunch of the Meta Masters Guild NFT store comes with new features and upgradeable in-game assets. It lists a wide range of Meta Kart Racers gold and platinum NFTs.

Meta Masters Guild has relaunched its NFT store with new features, functionalities, and discounts. The key highlight of the upgraded version is the new sets of Meta Kart Racers gold and platinum NFTs that will be compatible with MEMAG games. According to the latest announcements, the game will go live by July. In addition, the store now supports payments using ETH or MEMAG.

Use the discount code MEMAG20 to get 20% off your purchase if you’re buying your NFTs this month (MEMAG20 discount code valid until 18th May-23).

Rarity will determine the base-level stats of your NFTs

The base-level stats of your NFTs are determined by their rarity. That doesn’t mean you’re stuck with them for life. MEMAG games are essentially skill-based, and the NFTs align with that principle. You can upgrade your in-game assets with your gameplay and increase their value, as the metadata of MEMAG ERC 721 NFTs are upgradeable. But they have to be minted separately.

Stats featured by the NFTs vary depending on their type. For example, NFT characters have stats like strength, agility, defense, range, and attack. Another important type of NFT is Karts, which feature stats based on acceleration, top speed, steering, braking, and strength.

The Meta Masters Guild ecosystem will evolve with more upgrades in the next stages.

  • A much-awaited milestone for the platform in the third quarter of 2023 is enabling holders to sell their NFTs. The NFT upgrades made by the player through gameplay will reflect in the sales, in turn driving its value.
  • The launch of MEMAG NFT staking is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023. It allows NFT owners to earn yield by renting out their NFTs to other players.

Meta Kart Racers Lite is scheduled for launch in July

As a gaming platform dedicated to the mobile gaming market, Meta Masters Guild empowers mobile gaming developers and gamers by bringing them under one umbrella. The platform will be home to multiple gaming projects, underpinned by a common theme and fun and addictive play-to-earn gaming mechanics.

The first of these is Meta Kart Racers, which is currently in development, under Gamearound – a UK-based team of Web3 game developers. A fully playable lite version of the game is expected to go live in June or July this year, as the development is already in sprint two out of five. The fast-moving gaming development strengthens the credibility of the project.

The mobile-based PVP racing game requires players to compete against one another in the Meta Kart Championship. Unlike most play-to-earn games where the focus is on the initial investment, Meta Kart Racers will be a skill-based game. It will host a player-driven upgrade cycle that allows players to earn real rewards. Once the lite version of the game is out, players can share their feedback with game developers. The game will incorporate the changes as needed, along with new features and functionalities like new tracks, karts, and characters.

Meta Masters Guild has two more games in the pipeline with a similar theme but unique gameplay. Raid NFT is a turn-based fantasy fighting game where you must find your warrior classes and join them in a battle. The next is Meta Masters World, which will be a metaverse for MEMAG members, set in an expansive virtual world. In the game, you can explore the virtual world, collect resources, enter competitions and do more.

MEMAG token burning is live

As announced, Meta Masters Guild has initiated the token burn of its native cryptocurrency MEMAG. The program will cover a total of 150 million tokens, with 50 million tokens burnt every two weeks until a total of 150 million is reached. The tokens are taken out of the ecosystem and the marketplace in equal numbers. $650,000 worth of MEMAG has been burnt at the time of this writing.

The token-burning mechanism is aimed at driving the sustainable value of the token to benefit early investors. In addition to this, Meta Masters Guild has also launched MEMAG staking with attractive rewards for stakers. It comes with three staking pools as follows.

7-day lockup 30 day lockup 90-day lockup
  • 75% APY
  • Available from 15th March until the end of April.
  • An initial offer to encourage users to use the staking pools. It will not be available indefinitely, and would allow users to get an extra 9% tokens by the end of April if they lock up their tokens continuously.
  • Minimum stake amount is 100 MEMAG
  • Maximum stake amount is 250000 MEMAG
  • 7.5% APY
  • Ends on March 14, 2024 10:30 PM
  • Minimum stake amount is 100 MEMAG
  • Maximum stake amount is 250000 MEMAG
  • 15% APY
  • Ends on March 14, 2024 10:30 PM
  • Minimum stake amount is 100 MEMAG
  • Maximum stake amount is 250000 MEMAG

Although the 7-day pool features the most attractive returns and is not to be missed out on, the other two pools are more sustainable. They come with good returns for MEMAG holders, while not rocking the MEMAG economy.

Can MEMAG go 10X?

Meta Masters Guild stands apart in the crowded play-to-earn market with its focus on skills rather than the initial investment. MEMAG’s utility is embedded in the expanding mobile gaming market, which has an appetite for gripping crypto games. With the Meta Kart Racer scheduled for launch in July and the NFT store already live, MEMAG is looking at a strong bull run this year, 10X not being a long shot.

You can now buy MEMAG on leading crypto exchanges like Bitmart, XT.com, Hitbtc, Bilaxy, and Uniswap.
