ODMA was created to provide a standardized framework and environment for DMS based applications and services. Desktop applications use ODMA to access, store and manage data from a remote DMS, as if they are hosted locally or on the same computer. An ODMA open source framework ensures that desktop clients have the ability to easily interoperate and access data between operating platforms. ODMA provides client side document architecture support, document security in transition and interlinking, sorting, querying and distribution of data objects.
